Also, upon request customers can specify where they choose to drop off the vehicle as long as it is in Keflavik or Reykjavik at an additional cost. Upon booking you would need to request the drop off location. Please make sure that you send us your address when you book. In case you forget to include this information you can always send the location to our e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Costumers are able to rent a car with a debit card through our online booking system. However, if customers pay with a debit card we will charge 150.000 ISK in deposit upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded when the car is returned in the same condition as it was rented out. If a customer purchases the Gold Insurance Package with the car the deposit amount goes down to 65.000 ISK. If a customer purchases the Platinum Insurance there is no deposit.
If you have a valid credit card we will not charge any deposit upon arrival.
Yes, just make sure that you submit your pick up location when you book the car.
It depends on where you plan on traveling. If you are going to drive on F-roads (highland roads) you need a 4×4. In the winter months (Nov-April) it is recommended to rent a 4×4 for driving around the country because of icy road conditions. In the summer you don’t need a 4×4 to drive the ring road.
Yes, all of our rental cars have studded or spiked winter tires from the 1st of November through the 15th of April.

Credit and debit cards are accepted methods of payments. However, if you choose to use a debit card a deposit will be collected and then refunded if the car is returned in the same condition as it was rented. With no additional costs or fees. We accept all credit cards.

There is a shuttle service that passes by every fifteen minutes around-the-clock between airline terminals to rental car lots.
When you exit the customs area, continue straight ahead and go out outside the airport entrance. From there, you walk through a covered footpath and at the end of the path you will find the shuttle service. Read more here
Yes, you can. We accept all foreign licenses as long as it is in English or has Latin characters. If it does not follow this format make sure to bring an international drivers license.
Please return the car to our Keflavik Airport office. Our Airport office is located at Blikavöllur 3 - 235 Keflavik Airport. Our shuttle will then take you to the airport.
No. Unfortunately no refunds can be given for unused or partly used car hire vouchers.
Yes. You can only drive the Highland roads on a 4×4 (4wd) car.
