Along this road, many landmarks can be found. For example, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. Seljalandsfoss is a stunning waterfall that you can walk behind. This waterfall drops about 60 meters over the cliffs. Skógafoss has one of the most beautiful sights you will ever see, a double rainbow. Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible of sunny days. The Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 meters and a drop of 60 meters (Wikipedia). Also, the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is along the “Ring Road.” This Glacier Lagoon is right on the edge of Iceland’s beautiful Vatnajökull National Park.
