Spacious, sleek and fuel-efficient. The Nissan X-Trail is the perfect rental choice for families and groups that want a comfortable drive with an adventurous edge.
Our 2019-2020 model X-Trail feels just as much at home in the Icelandic highlands and F-roads as it does cruising the streets of Reykjavík and Akureyri.
Powered by a 2.0-litre fuel-efficient diesel engine, the Nissan X-Trail is one of our most fuel-efficient 4x4 SUVs. For those in charge of the budget; the average fuel consumption of the Nissan X-Trail is approx. 5.3 litres per 100 kilometres driven. With a fuel tank of 60 litres, the fuel range is around 900 kilometres.
The X-Trail comfortably seats 5 adults with 550 litres in the boot; plenty of room left for luggage. For larger groups of up to 7, we suggest that room in seats 6 and 7 are more suitable for children or smaller members of your party due to limited space in the back. If you plan to travel with 7 passengers, then we recommend that you add a roof box to your booking to accommodate the extra baggage without impacting your comfort or safety.
For families with young children, the car is also suitable for forward and rearward ISOFIX and non-ISOFIX child seats.
The X-Trail comes absolutely loaded with features to make you drive and stay as effortless and enjoyable as possible. The 360° Camera parking assistant will help you park whenever and wherever you happen to find a spot inside the city, and the navigation system will lead the way once you find yourself cruising along the open road of National Route 1, for example. To make the trip even more comfortable the X-Trail features heated seats, air-conditioning, a speed limiter and cruise control. The 360° camera parking assistant makes parking in the city centre a breeze whilst the panoramic sunroof allows passengers to enjoy the view from all angles.
Spacious, sleek and fuel-efficient. This rental car is the perfect choice for families and groups that want a comfortable drive with all the added benefits to make navigating around Iceland a little bit easier.
The Nissan X-Trail can be driven on Iceland's F-Roads. If you are not familiar with the rules of our roads, we recommend reading our how to drive on Iceland's f-road guide.
Keep in mind that even if your vehicle is clear to take on F-roads, off-road driving is highly illegal in Iceland and can result in legal prosecution and hefty fines.
