"Pick up at airport was smooth and easy. Friendly staff answered my questions and explained how everything works. No problems with the car. Glad we had 4x4 and studded tires! After our 2 week circle of the island we dropped the car back at the airport to find the same friendly faces asking about how the car performed and if I had any issues. Great customer service. Highly recommend renting a car from Lotus."

I booked a Toyota RAV4 (new model) primarily because it has the same luggage capacity as our car at home and we had a lot of luggage (much of it destined for my daughter living in Iceland) and that’s exactly what we got. Any number of times I’ve rented from larger multi-nationals who have switched for an “equivalent” which wasn’t up to the job, so this was a big relief. The staff were friendly and helpful and even went out of their way to get me back to a local hotel after dropping the car off. Although this is my first rental with Lotus, if our experience this time is anything to go by, they’ll be getting my repeat business when I visit my daughter (and explore more of Iceland)

"Lotus is a top-notch operation in Iceland. It is easy to get to right from the airport as a tram will pick you up and drop you right at their doorstep. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. If you're not familiar with the countryside I would recommend GPS but don't fully trust it 100%. We hired the all-wheel drive Volkswagen 9 seat van. It had plenty of room but it is not your luxury van. It did get the job done. I highly recommend Lotus car rental Iceland."
